開発者は、iOS / watchOS アプリ「VoiceNote」（以下「本アプリ」）におけるユーザ情報の取扱いについて、本プライバシーポリシーを定めます。ユーザは本アプリを利用することにより、本プライバシーポリシー、利用規約および特定商取引法に基づく表記の内容に同意したものとみなします。
本アプリは音声録音・文字起こし・翻訳・議事録生成機能を提供します。音声ファイル、文字起こしテキスト、翻訳テキスト、議事録テキストは原則として端末内で処理・保存し、外部サーバーへ送信しません。ただし、翻訳機能において端末内モデルが対応していない言語の場合、テキストが Apple のサーバーに送信されることがあります。
本アプリは録音・文字起こし・翻訳・議事録生成機能を提供するため、ユーザの端末上で以下の情報を扱います。
音声ファイル、文字起こしテキスト、議事録・要約テキストは端末外へ送信しません。
開発者は、本アプリの品質向上、不具合調査、利用状況の把握および機能改善のため、個人情報を含まないログを取得する場合があります。
取得する場合があるログの例：
ログには、氏名、住所、電話番号、メールアドレス、音声ファイルの内容、文字起こしテキストの本文、翻訳テキストの本文、議事録・要約テキストの本文、その他個人情報を含めません。ユーザ識別子（広告 ID 等）も送信しません。
翻訳機能は Apple Translation Framework を使用します。翻訳対象言語の端末内モデルがダウンロード済みの場合は端末内で処理します。端末内モデルが利用できない場合、翻訳対象のテキストが Apple のサーバーに送信されることがあります。この場合のデータの取扱いは Apple のプライバシーポリシーに従います。

各サービスのプライバシーポリシー：
本アプリは録音機能の提供のためマイク権限を求めます。音声データは端末内での処理および保存のみに使用し、外部へ送信しません。権限を付与しない場合、録音機能を利用できません。権限は iOS の設定アプリからいつでも変更できます。
文字起こし機能を利用するため、本アプリは音声認識（Speech Recognition）権限を求めます。音声認識処理は Apple Speech Framework を用いて端末内で実行されます。権限を付与しない場合、文字起こし機能を利用できません。
本アプリは通知のためプッシュ通知権限を求める場合があります。通知権限を付与しない場合でも、本アプリの基本的な録音・文字起こし・翻訳・議事録生成機能は利用できます。
watchOS companion アプリは、iPhone 側が管理する録音の開始・停止操作および録音一覧の表示を補助します。音声ファイルの実体、文字起こしテキスト、翻訳テキスト、議事録テキストは Apple Watch に永続保存しません。一時的な表示用データは永続保存しません。
議事録・要約生成は Apple Foundation Models を用いて端末内でのみ処理します。生成処理において、文字起こしテキストが端末外へ送信されることはありません。端末が Foundation Models に対応していない場合、または言語が対応していない場合は機能が制限されます。
開発者は、本アプリで扱う情報を以下の目的で利用します。
開発者は、法令に基づく場合を除き、ユーザの個人情報を第三者に提供しません。ただし、翻訳機能利用時に端末内モデルが対応していない場合は、翻訳対象テキストが Apple のサーバーに送信されることがあります。また、課金・アプリ配信等のために Apple その他の第三者サービスが各自のポリシーに基づき情報を取得する場合があります。
本アプリは 13 歳未満または各国法令で定められる年齢未満の子供を対象としていません。
開発者は、本アプリまたは第三者サービスの利用に関連して生じた損害、録音・文字起こし・翻訳・議事録データの消失、課金に関する問題、端末や OS の不具合その他一切の事項について、法令上許容される最大限の範囲で一切の責任を負いません。
開発者は、必要に応じて本プライバシーポリシーを改定できます。改定後のポリシーは、本アプリ内、App Store 上または開発者が適切と判断する方法で表示された時点から効力を生じます。ユーザが改定後に本アプリを利用した場合、改定後のポリシーに同意したものとみなします。

The developer defines this Privacy Policy for the handling of user information in the iOS / watchOS app "VoiceNote" (the "App"). By using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and the notation based on Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
The App provides audio recording, transcription, translation, and meeting minutes generation features. Audio files, transcribed text, translated text, and meeting minutes text are processed and stored on the device as a general rule and are not sent to external servers. However, when the translation feature is used for a language not supported by an on-device model, the text may be sent to Apple's servers.
To provide recording, transcription, translation, and meeting minutes generation features, the App handles the following information on the user's device:
Audio files, transcribed text, and meeting minutes / summary text are never sent outside the device.
The developer may collect logs that do not include personal information for quality improvement, issue investigation, usage analysis, and feature improvement.
Examples of logs that may be collected:
Logs do not include names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, the contents of audio files, transcribed text, translated text, meeting minutes or summary text, or other personal information. User identifiers such as advertising IDs are not sent.
The translation feature uses Apple Translation Framework. If an on-device model for the target language has been downloaded, processing is performed on the device. If an on-device model is unavailable, the text to be translated may be sent to Apple's servers. Data handling in such cases follows Apple's privacy policy.

The App uses the following third-party services, and those services may collect information according to their respective policies.

Privacy policy for each service:
The App requests microphone permission to provide recording features. Audio data is used only for on-device processing and storage and is not sent externally. If microphone permission is not granted, recording features cannot be used. Permission can be changed at any time in the iOS Settings app.
The App requests speech recognition permission to use the transcription feature. Speech recognition is performed on the device using Apple Speech Framework. If speech recognition permission is not granted, the transcription feature cannot be used.
The App may request push notification permission for alerts and other notifications. The App's basic recording, transcription, translation, and meeting minutes generation features remain usable even without notification permission.
The watchOS companion app assists with starting and stopping recordings and displaying the recording list managed by the iPhone. Audio files, transcribed text, translated text, and meeting minutes text are not persistently stored on the Apple Watch. Temporary display data is not persistently stored.
Meeting minutes and summary generation are processed on the device only using Apple Foundation Models. Transcribed text is never sent outside the device during the generation process. Features may be limited if the device does not support Foundation Models or the language is not supported.
The developer uses information handled by the App for the following purposes:
The developer does not provide users' personal information to third parties except as required by law. However, when the translation feature is used for a language not supported by an on-device model, the text to be translated may be sent to Apple's servers. Additionally, Apple and other third-party services may collect information according to their own policies for billing and app distribution.
The App is not intended for children under 13 years old or under the age specified by applicable laws in each country or region.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer assumes no responsibility for damages, recording or data loss, transcription, translation, or meeting minutes errors, billing issues, device or OS issues, or any other matters arising in connection with use of the App or third-party services.
The developer may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. The revised policy becomes effective when displayed in the App, on the App Store, or by another method the developer considers appropriate. If users use the App after the revision, they are deemed to have agreed to the revised policy.
